Privacy Policy

This policy covers the DJ Hot Sauce website (djhotsauce.com) and the DJ Hot Sauce mobile app, including live shows simulcast to NuVybz Radio on Live365.

What we collect

We keep it minimal:

• Chat & profile info you provide. If you join live chat or set up a fan profile, we store the display name and optional profile photo you choose, and your messages. If you sign in with NuVybz, we receive only your profile name and photo.
• Tips. Optional tips are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details — we receive only a purchase confirmation and your display name so the DJ can be credited. Tips are voluntary support and do not unlock content or features.
• Crash reports. If the app crashes, technical diagnostic information (device type, error details, the screen you were on) may be sent to us to fix bugs. This never includes your listening history.
• Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, our servers log requests (IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

• We do not track individual listening behavior.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, ad-tracking SDKs, or sell your data.
• We do not collect your location. The app does not request location permissions.

Live radio & audio commercials

DJ Hot Sauce live shows are simulcast to NuVybz Radio on Live365. During live broadcasts you may hear audio commercials, including advertisements inserted by Live365 and promotional spots provided by DJ Hot Sauce — just like traditional radio. Commercials are selected and uploaded solely by station staff; listeners cannot upload advertising content. Audio ads play in the stream itself and involve no tracking of you.

Viewer counts

During live shows the app displays an aggregate, anonymous viewer count. It is a simple total — it does not identify who is watching.

Camera & microphone

The app requests camera and microphone access only if you are an invited guest DJ going live. Fans listening or chatting never need these permissions.

Kids

The app and website are intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep things

Chat messages and profiles are kept while the service operates and may be removed by moderation at any time. Crash reports and server logs are kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your chat profile and messages at any time.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app — app-store payment processing (Apple/Google via RevenueCat), video/audio streaming infrastructure, and the Live365 radio platform for broadcasting. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own advertising.

Website comments & cookies

Parts of djhotsauce.com run on a standard website platform that may use basic cookies for site functionality (for example, remembering comment details if you leave one). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
