Beyonce Filmed A Music Video at Coney Island

The Coney Island theme park in New York City got a mega celebrity visitor on Thursday afternoon, August 29 in the person of pop/R’n’B diva Beyonce Knowles. The Queen Bey was there to film a new music video reportedly helmed by famed fashion photographer Terry Richardson for her new song entitled “XO”.
Wearing a Notorious B.I.G. cap and multiple neck bling over a white sleeveless shirt over a black bra top and matching them with a pair of jeans, Bey rode the 86-yrear-old Cyclone roller coaster flashing a smile in one snapshot and then enjoying the thrilling ride with her seatmate, her stylist Ty Hunter and the other passengers in the other pics. The filming took just 45 minutes to complete.
As expected, fans crowded the amusement park to catch a glimpse of the “Grown Woman” singer. She graciously smiled and waved to the fans who screamed at the top of their lungs to catch her attention. “This is the craziest and best thing I’ve seen in my whole life. I came out to Coney Island for the day. It was a lucky day,” said one of the fans who saw Beyonce that day.
Come Saturday, Beyonce will kick off the two-day Budweiser “Made in America” music festival, co-headlining with the Nine Inch Nails. The event will take place this weekend at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. Like in its inaugural run last year, her hubby Jay-Z will serve as the event curator, but unlike last time, he will not perform this year.
Solange Performs In A Laundromat

Imagine yourself washing clothes at a laundromat and all of a sudden, Solange comes in and performs an impromptu concert. Well, Beyonce‘s sister did just that Monday night (July 29) in Brooklyn, N.Y., as part of vitaminwater and FADER’s #uncapped series.
The R&B mom rocked an intimate set at Brooklyn’s Atlantis Super Wash Center. She performed songs from her ‘True’ EP as well as a cover tune that was apropos for the occasion.
“This laundromat really has me wanting to be a drama queen tonight, so excuse my theatrics,” Solange said before she performed ‘Bad Girls’ from her ‘True’ EP.
Solange’s outfit was to-die-for. The songbird wore a printed sweatshirt and matching shorts outfit from Clover Canyon’s 2014 Resort collection, which revealed her never-ending killer legs. The daffodil yellow-colored snakeskin heels completed the whole ensemble. Not only was Solange fashionable she was functional as well. You go girl!
During her performance, she sang a cover song of Nivea’s 2002 hit, ‘Laundromat,’ which was appropriate for the event.
“‘Laundromat’” might actually be, and my best friend can co-sign, one of my top 15 most-played songs,” Solange told Fader magazine after the show. “Since it came out, I’ve always wanted to cover it and as soon as I found out that this was going down in a laundromat, it just had to be done. I wish we would’ve had more time to rehearse it, because being R. Kelly and Nivea at the same damn time is just not possible. So I was trying my best.”
Of course, Solange couldn’t finish her show without performing her breakthrough song, ‘Losing You.’
The 27-year-old singer certainly worked up a lather as she sashayed back and forth onstage between washing machines and circular dryers performing her break-up ballad.

“The Mrs. Carter Show” was supposed to end on August 3 at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, but apparently the Beyonce’ world tour has already been extended even before she actually kicks off the North America leg on June 28 at the Staples Centre in L.A. The pop/R’n’B superstar’s tour has expanded to include a Latin America leg plus additional shows in the U.S. and Canada.
Bey will trek across Latin America all throughout the month of September, playing five shows in Brazil alone in popular tourist destinations as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo and the capital Brasilia. This will then be followed by one show each in Venezuela, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
On November 30, the “Grown Woman” singer will kick off the second North America leg of her world tour at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver before moving to California for two shows, followed next by an MGM Grand Garden Arena stopover in Las Vegas before she ends the first week of December in Phoenix. Two shows in Texas and one show each afterwards in Louisville, Chicago, St. Louis, Toronto, Washington D.C., Brooklyn and Boston will keep her busy until December 20.
