Who knew Reebok could make such a comeback. Alicia Keys debuted her new Reebok shoe collection in LA’s Nordstorm store where her collection supposedly sold out in 30 minutes. Her and hubby Swizz Beatz were all smiles as they continued to promote the new line of sneakers. Alicia Keys is, without a doubt, following in her husband’s footsteps. Swizz is now the creative director of Reebok and recently released his own sneaker. Two years later, he put his wife on to the game.

ALICIA KEYS OPENS UP ABOUT HER MARRIAGE

Alicia Keys heart was set on fire when she married music producer Swizz Beatz.
“I really learned what everyone meant when they said, ‘you know when you know,’ when I met my husband,” she says to kick off the second season of “Oprah’s Master Class” which aired March 3 on OWN.
The 32-year-old singer and pianist is head over heels in love with Beatz, 34, her husband of nearly three years, who she describes as “bubbling over with life.”
“He’s definitely taught me a lot about freedom and a lot about spontaneity and about being open to life and how it’s going to happen,” she continues.

Keys and her husband have one son, Egypt, 2, together. If her glowing smile is any indication the “New Day” singer is happy in her family life, and her husband appears to be a major reason why.
“He’s just an incredibly crazy, spontaneous, full of life person,” Keys adds. “I’ve never met a person like him, ever.”
The Grammy-award winning performer, who recently sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, credits her man with inspiring a more impromptu side of her.
“Before I was always kind of regimented about how everything had to happen, I had to plan it out all perfect but that’s not quite life,” she describes. “That’s part of life, don’t get it wrong, you have to plan things and execute them but there’s also another part of life that’s very spontaneous, that’s very natural and it kind of unfolds and it happens to you”

ALICIA KEYS AS LENA HORNE?

Alicia-Keys-Lena-Horne

Rumblings of Alicia Keys possibly playing legendary entertainer Lena Horne in a biopic began circulating back in 2007, when Oprah Winfrey had taken over the languishing project that previously had Janet Jackson attached as the lead.
There were reports that Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl scandal got her dropped from consideration by Horne herself, clearing a path for Winfrey’s choice of Keys with a script from “Oprah Winfrey Presents…” screenwriter Lloyd Kramer. But, that project, too, has stalled.
Horne would never get the chance to see her life story on the big screen. The singer, actress, civil rights activist and dancer died in May 2010 at the age of 92.
“Lena the woman, the human being – that is the most fascinating to me: her vulnerabilities, her life, her flow through the many difficult times (and good ones) and her ability to remain graceful, elegant and beautiful always,” Keys said of her at the time.
