Kelly Rowland Says She’s Ready To Be A Mother
Kelly Rowland has given notice about her family plans, revealing she has a special “sweetheart” and can’t wait to become a mum.
The private singer is refusing to name names but she reveals her secret guy isn’t famous, even though he’s a star in her eyes – and they were brought together by “mutual friends”.
She tells Access Hollywood Live, “A good fit for me is somebody who knows who they are as a man… and somebody who’s funny, which is definitely what my sweetheart is; he’s so funny, he brings out the best in me. I feel like I’m a better woman because of him.
“I am happy… He is famous and a star in my eyes… (but) I’m a very private person when I comes to that… That’s the only thing that I keep to myself.”
And her new guy might just be the one she’ll settle down with, admitting she’s ready to become a mum: “All of my friends have kids, and when I go to visit them I pick up the habits of them waking me up in the mornings, to fixing the food, to hanging out with them and kids are so cool.
“I’m like, ‘It would be nice to have one on my hip…’ I know I make it sound like it’s a backpack or something, but… All of my girlfriends have kids and all the kids are so much fun and I watch them be mothers and wives and I really would like that.”

As Kim Kardashian’s due date is getting closer, more rumors ahead surrounding her baby with Kanye West swirl on the web. It’s reported that the rapper wants to call his first child North West while the reality TV star is preparing a monochrome nursery for the bundle of joy.
“Kanye’s ego is something else, so he’s quite serious about the title,” a source tells The Sun. “He also has a sense of humor though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It’s half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true.”
A different source opens up to PEOPLE about Kim’s black and white nursery plan. “Kim was gushing about her nursery plans while carefully selecting gifts for her baby registry with sisters Khloe and Kourtney at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood,” the source claims. “She mainly looked at simple clothing, nothing too girly.”
Kim is due to give birth in early July. The mom-to-be sparked a pregnancy scare earlier this month after being rushed to hospital following a couple of trips overseas with her baby daddy. She quickly assured she was fine and has been out and about ever since.

A Washington state mother is accused of letting her 22-month-old toddler smoke marijuana from a bong, police said.
Police said they received cell phone video from an anonymous source of a child taking what appeared to be a bong hit while his mother — identified as Rachelle L. Braaten, 24, of Centralia, Wash. — held the pipe.
And when police went to couple’s home, they found 30-40 marijuana plants as well as firearms.
The child’s father Tyler J. Lee, 25, was accused of unlawful possession of a firearm and manufacturing marijuana.
The woman is being accused of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor as well as manufacturing marijuana.
The boy and another child were taken into state custody after the arrests.
A Seattle TV station obtained the cell phone video from Centralia police and posted it online. The video appears to show a child dressed in camouflage shirt briefly putting his face to the top of a lit water pipe.
Lee was released on Monday pending charges, KOMO-TV reported. Braaten was booked into the Lewis County Jail and was still listed on the jail roster on Tuesday afternoon. Her bail was set at $20,000.
In November, Washington state voters approved Initiative 502 making it legal for anyone 21 or over to possess up to an ounce of marijuana, 16 ounces of “solid marijuana-infused product” (pot brownies and such) or 72 ounces of “marijuana-infused liquid.
However, it is still illegal to grow marijuana for recreational purposes in the state. The Washington Liquor Control Board was given until Dec. 1 to develop rules for implementing the law.
