Kelly Rowland has given notice about her family plans, revealing she has a special “sweetheart” and can’t wait to become a mum.Kelly Rowland1The private singer is refusing to name names but she reveals her secret guy isn’t famous, even though he’s a star in her eyes – and they were brought together by “mutual friends”.
She tells Access Hollywood Live, “A good fit for me is somebody who knows who they are as a man… and somebody who’s funny, which is definitely what my sweetheart is; he’s so funny, he brings out the best in me. I feel like I’m a better woman because of him.
“I am happy… He is famous and a star in my eyes… (but) I’m a very private person when I comes to that… That’s the only thing that I keep to myself.”
And her new guy might just be the one she’ll settle down with, admitting she’s ready to become a mum: “All of my friends have kids, and when I go to visit them I pick up the habits of them waking me up in the mornings, to fixing the food, to hanging out with them and kids are so cool.
“I’m like, ‘It would be nice to have one on my hip…’ I know I make it sound like it’s a backpack or something, but… All of my girlfriends have kids and all the kids are so much fun and I watch them be mothers and wives and I really would like that.”

SHAPE Magazine‘s October 2013 cover is everything we needed after a long summer of excuses as to why we couldn’t work out. A fabulously fit Kelly Rowland graces the latest issue and she dropped some gems in the interview!

“I work out five or six times a week. I feel better, look better, sleep better,” she says. “As I’m getting older, the Rowland family trait of having bigger bottoms is taking its toll on my hips and butt. The other day, [my trainer] had me doing squats that were so hard I wanted to kill her.”

“But my behind is getting higher and tighter,” she adds. “Exercise really does change your body.”

And what about those cravings? How does she handle THE CRAVINGS?

“When I want a steak, I grill some portobello mushrooms and put a little goat cheese on them,” she tells the mag. “And I’ve learned to satisfy my sweet tooth by replacing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with half a tablespoon of almond butter on half a banana.”

Hmm.. ok Kel. We’ll work on substituting all of our favorite, calorie-laden treats with fruit and veggie concoctions. Thanks for the inspiration!

THE DREAM GIVES A PREVIEW OF HIS NEW ALBUM

THE DREAM

During a listening session at New York’s Jungle City Studios, songwriter Terius Nash a.k.a. The-Dream previewed his forthcoming fifth album “IV Play”.  As the 35-year-old artist rolled through the tracks of his new LP on his iPod and entertained some questions after each session, it was revealed that the prolific hitmaker got divas Beyonce Knowles and Mary J. Blige among the superstar collaborators who supported his new project.

Beyonce appears on the track “Fire” where the Queen Bey, in her most breathy and sensual tone, sings about being ready to light up after being a good girl for so long. In an airy sort of hallucinatory way she croons, “I’ve never been high / but tonight I might try it / I’ve been such a good girl / but tonight I might try it.”

Meanwhile, the one and only Mary J. Blige will appear on the final version of the track “Divine”, an inspiring song that will make the listener feel that he or she is a huge superstar standing on top of the world. The-Dream says he will take the song even higher by blending the big, orchestral track with the unique, soulful vocals of the Grammy Award-winning singer.

Besides Bey, The-Dream has enlisted her BFF and Destiny’s Child sister Kelly Rowland on the piano-driven, almost-break-up anthem “Where Have You Been”. He’s also going to get Mr. Carter, Jay-Z, on the final edit of the trap-inspired, bass-heavy jam “High Art”.
