Gucci Mane Suing Waka & His Former Manager (Waka’s Mom)
The ongoing issues between Atlanta rappers and former associates Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame have continued this week with the announcement that Gucci has filed a lawsuit against both Waka and his mother, Debra Antney.
According to TMZ, the 1017 Brick Squad Records founder believes that Waka and Antney are responsible for the downfall of his music career. Court documents state that Antney became Gucci’s manager in 2006 and both Antney and Waka released Gucci’s music without his permission and also collected royalties on behalf of the rapper and his music.
“Defendants’ misrepresentations and omissions were made with the intent that plaintiffs rely upon them,” read the lawsuit, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “The plaintiffs relied on the representations and would not have entrusted (the) defendants with their careers and livelihoods otherwise.”
Waka Flocka gets confronted by Chicago goons……in Tampa
Some Chicago goons tried to pull rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s card over the weekend, but instead of running from the men, Waka put them in their place by confronting them.
The entire incident, recorded on video, shows several men approaching the rapper and his entourage on a Tampa, Florida street.
NEW VIDEO: Waka Flocka ‘Where It At”
Waka Flocka has dropped the official visuals for “Where It At”. He had to travel to Paris, France, to film the music video. Instead of giving some looks at Eiffel tower, the four-minute video sees the other side of the city.
In the video, Waka is seen spitting his bars while being surrounded by motorcycles, four-wheelers and cheering people . There are also scenes that feature the 27-year-old New York-born rapper visiting a local boxing gym with his friends.
